Compensations are expenses in the form of amounts as well as quantities in corresponding units. For example, KM compensation can be recorded in KM. All compensation entries have a minimum and a maximum value.
If the minimum and maximum values correspond to the same value (e.g. min. CHF 16 and max. CHF 16), this is a flat rate.

Recording compensation via the time clock
The time clock is a simple way of recording compensation. This is currently particularly important for ems Mobile users who record times and compensation on the move.
Compensation can only be recorded via the time clock, but can no longer be edited or deleted.

Select the desired compensation type under point (1). Enter the desired quantity at point (2). Depending on the setting, this can also be set automatically (if the charge is saved with a fixed value in the settings). Please also note the corresponding unit (e.g. STK) with which the data must be recorded.
Click on“Save” to save the data irrevocably. Make sure that you do not inadvertently enter the same data more than once. You can check this in the “List” tab.
Recording compensation by manual entry

Click on the “Plus” button to enter a manual entry.
Depending on the setting, you only have the option of recording data via the time clock (if the “punch” recording type is active). In this case, the red “plus” is not visible.

First select the desired compensation type under point (1). Enter the desired quantity at point (2). Depending on the setting, this can also be set automatically (if the charge is saved with a fixed value in the settings). Please also note the corresponding unit (e.g. STK) with which the data must be recorded.
Under point 3, you can also optionally enter a receipt or a document for the compensation entry.
Compensation can contain both a minimum and a maximum value. You must adhere to these limit values, otherwise you will receive an error message.
Processing compensation

As long as the data has not been released, you can select and edit it in the list.
Data can no longer be processed under the following circumstances:
- You do not have the authorizations for this type of compensation.
- The data has already been released by you (employee).
- The data has already been released by a project manager (control visa).
- The data has already been released by a supervisor (final visa).
