However, as soon as these have been completed, it is only possible to cancel.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Procedure<\/h2>\n\n<p>Switch to the <em>Customer invoices<\/em> menu<em>(Accounting \u2192 Accounts receivable \u2192 Customer invoices<\/em>) and search for the desired invoice. The invoice number is not assigned again. Instead, it gets &#8220;lost&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p>When canceling, the system creates a cancellation document. This balances the bill.
