Find out how this all works below. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enter order<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create order from a quote<\/h3>\n\n<p>If you have created a quote for the customer and the customer has accepted it, an order can be created directly from a quote. Any number of customer and sales orders can be generated from each quotation. If the order is generated from a quotation, the previous quotation code appears here. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Department<\/h4>\n\n<p>The <em>department<\/em> is automatically filled in by the system, depending on which department the person creating the order belongs to.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Order groups<\/h4>\n\n<p>The order groups are used for sorting in the evaluations and filtering of sales orders. These can be changed and added to in the order settings. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Addresses<\/h4>\n\n<p>For each order, a <em>customer address<\/em>, an <em>object address <\/em>(where the place of performance of services is located &#8211; e.g. construction site) and an <em>invoice address <\/em>(to which the invoices are issued &#8211; can be the same as the customer address or different) can be entered. These addresses are set to the same as the customer address by default and can be changed. <\/p>\n\n<p>The addresses are <em>highlighted in color <\/em>if you have set the color marker for the corresponding customer address.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notes for the order<\/h4>\n\n<p>If you have entered a comment in the <em>Note (order)<\/em> field when entering the customer address, this will appear under the corresponding address.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"254\" height=\"117\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ems-help.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Web-Auftrag-Hinweis.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5570\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Order status<\/h4>\n\n<p>You can read more about this here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ems-help.online\/docs\/auftragsstatus-abrechnung-auftragsabschluss\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"4914\">Order status, billing, order completion<\/a><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact us<\/h4>\n\n<p><strong>Contact (name)<\/strong> &#8211; if not known \/ available, add a dash<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Order period<\/h4>\n\n<p>Planned time frame for order processing<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Link addresses to the order<\/h4>\n\n<p>If the order is linked to other contacts that may appear necessary during order processing, use the section <em>Linked addresses to sales order<\/em>. This allows you to link several contacts to the order: both customer and supplier addresses (e.g. for a construction project, you can link the architect, administration and office contacts involved as well as construction site suppliers). <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"517\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ems-help.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Web-Angebot-Verlinkte-Adressen.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5091\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ems-help.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Web-Angebot-Verlinkte-Adressen.png 517w, https:\/\/www.ems-help.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Web-Angebot-Verlinkte-Adressen-300x104.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 517px) 100vw, 517px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remark and internal text<\/h4>\n\n<p>If your customer has access to your ems system (can be set via the customer addresses \/ section <em>Logins<\/em>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ems-help.online\/docs\/neue-kundenadresse-erfassen\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"2918\">Enter new customer address<\/a>), the <em>comment <\/em>can be visible to them, while the <em>internal text<\/em> is only visible to you and your employees who have access to this order.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clearing instruction<\/h4>\n\n<p>The settlement instruction is a useful tool for entering comments for order settlement by the accounting department. This instruction can be entered both in the basic data and in the Settlement tab in the <em>Payment plan<\/em> section <em>for the sales order<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
