Unlike direct time tracking, these requests are not transferred to the time tracking system until they have been approved. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Approval can be granted in one or two stages (approval by a supervisor only, or additionally by a project manager). Whether this is by the hour, half-day or full-day, or whether the day is automatically filled in depends on the time type you selected. Depending on your selection, you may need to enter only the start date (3) or also the time.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under item (4), you can enter a description of the request. Under item (5), you can upload <strong>a<\/strong> document <strong>or<\/strong> <strong>image<\/strong> directly to the request. Clicking &#8220;Save&#8221; saves the data and, depending on the settings, notifies the appropriate people for approval.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editing a Time Request<\/h3>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"441\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ems-help.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Zeitanfragen-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8661\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ems-help.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Zeitanfragen-3.jpg 441w, https:\/\/www.ems-help.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Zeitanfragen-3-300x182.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ems-help.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Zeitanfragen-3-360x218.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 441px) 100vw, 441px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As long as the request has not been approved, you can edit it as many times as you like (<em>arrow icon<\/em>) or delete it.
