Article variants are subordinate articles that are equipped with additional characteristics.

Article variants always consist of a main article (parent article).
This is created like a normal article. It does not have to contain sales data (price, etc.), but is only used to summarize the different variants.
One or more sub-items are created from the main item.
The newly created article now requires the corresponding variant data in the properties. Whereby any combination of data is also possible (for example, size “L” and color “red”).
